| Demetrio "Dimitry" Scopelliti was born in Vercelli, Italy on Feb 23, 1980.
He started playing the guitar at the age of 13 and after a couple of years of practice he founded the group Arcadia. With this band he toured the entire world in the following 20 years. After graduating at the European Music College in Milan, Italy, he released his first album "Evolution" in 2008, "Codex Magika" in 2012, the full length album "The Art of Complications" in 2016, "The Silent Watcher" in 2018 and the digital album " V " in 2022, plus several other records under different names and music shapes. In 2020 during the lockdown months he locked himself in the studio writing and recording " V ", his 5th studio album. Since it was very difficult to get a hold of people in that period Demetrio decided to record all the instruments by himself which gave him the opportunity to work out the album exactly as it sounded in his head.
He's currently endorsed by: Hotone Audio (pedals), Lundgren Pickups, Chicken Picks, Mercuriall Audio, Two Notes Audio Engineering.
Beside composing, producing and touring the world, Dimitry is a guitar, bass and drums instructor in different schools in Norway where he lives nowadays. Click to read the
